Sheridan Bike lanes are finished, and they are great!

The city has completed the summer-long construction of new bikes lanes on Sheridan in front of Northwest University. The lanes now extend from Davis Street north to Lincoln Street. The city also rebuilt the mile long section of Sheridan road in front of NU, reducing it from 4 lanes to 3. The bike lane runs both directions along the east side Sheridan, and features separate traffic lights for bikes, swing out at intersections, and cut-ins for buses, making it safer to load passengers without stopping traffic.
