Recyclery's Tailwind for Tools fundraiser

The Evanston-based nonprofit bike powerhouse, the Recyclery, is ending the year with some impressive accomplishments including giving away 168 bicycles to people in need, 28 people earning a bike they refurbish themselves, training 5 youth interns, serving 1745 people during Open Shop (Spanish nights, youth nights!) and supporting the LGBTQ community with new inclusive shop nights.

And now they’re kicking off their 3rd annual winter fundraiser, Tailwind for Tools. Supported  by local organizations such as the Evanston Community Foundation and the Evanston Bike Club, and individual donors, the Recyclery has set a goal of $5,000 for this year’s fundraiser. A Tailwind for Tools open house will be scheduled for February and we’ll be sure to let you know the date. Thank you, Recyclery, for all you do for Evanston and Rogers Park!
